Hyundai: Offers Lucky Holder Chance to Trade in Old NFT for IRL Car
In an unexpected twist, Hyundai launched an NFT trade-in promotion, offering the owner of an old 2021 Hyundai Santa Cruz NFT the chance to exchange it for a top-of-the-line 2025 Santa Cruz Limited AWD or $20,000 in cash. Crocs: Expands Fortnite Integration and Prepares IRL Collection
Crocs continues its ‘Intergalactic’ tour, making its latest appearance in Fortnite’s ‘Ship Wars! Red vs Blue’ which launched in September for a limited time. This followed previous integrations in Fortnite’s ‘BIG Inflatable Deathrun’ in June and ‘Window Wars’ in July. Amazon has revived its ‘Joyful Horizons’ experience in Roblox for a second season, running from September 26 to January 15. Spin Master: Launches Hatchimals Event in ‘Twighlight Daycare’ on Roblox
Spin Master, the toy brand behind Hatchimals, has integrated into Roblox’s ‘Twilight Daycare’ experience, launching the ‘Hatchimals Hatch Day’ event. Starting on October 4, players could complete event-themed quests to earn UGC and take a personality quiz to receive one of four Hatchimals eggs, which will hatch within the game experience.

Hyundai Unexpectedly Revives Old NFTs
Hyundai’s recent move to let a 2021 Santa Cruz NFT holder trade their token for a new Santa Cruz or cash prize was a surprising stunt activation, especially given how many branded NFT collections—and Hyundai itself—had gone quiet since the initial drop. While Hyundai may not have explicitly promised future utility for their NFTs, this activation shows how even dormant digital collections can be brought back to life with real-world value.
